THE LOST DEVLOG #2: MULTIPLAYER INTERACTIONS AND UPCOMING FEATURES

For the last few weeks we’ve been working towards furthering development on multiplayer and we’ve made solid progress. In this video below is showing multiplayer interactions in the game (Destroying rocks, holding items etc)

We are now working towards more optimized and lag-free interactions and motions along with UI. We will then work towards building and advanced mechanics.

FUTURE OF MULTIPLAYER

Over the last few weeks we have been looking at new ideas for multiplayer. To make it more exciting and to be the most fun possible.

We have brought it down to a few game modes: Elimination, Zombies Co-op, Deathmatch Survival, and prop hunt. Regular Co-op will be in the game.

We have also been reviewing the possibilities of cross-save and progression. So you can easily access your data and games across all platforms. We are still considering the possibility, we have not made any final decisions.

CLOUD AND WEATHER SYSTEM

In the video below is progress on the cloud system.

We are also working on a weather system with rain, hail, snow etc. We are planning for our weather system to work with our temp system, as mentioned in DEVLOG #1. It will affect your heartbeat, how well you do certain things and more.

WEAPONS AND ITEMS IN PROGRESS

We are currently working on a crossbow and 2 more modern weapons for you to use in-game. We only will show you 2 here. These are only a few we are working on. As soon we will show a lot more (in the coming months).





We are currently working on more weapons and items such as more modern weapons (Mp5, Pistol etc). Along with a first-aid kit that we’ll show soon.

DELAY OF RELEASE AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We do have some sad, but good news.

We are officially delaying release from Q4 2023 until Q1 2024. This’ll give us more time to develop much needed features to have the game the best it can be on launch.

We can’t show you all the things we are cooking yet, but we will soon. Once we do, we think you’ll love it.
